Good news: this weekend is all about food, wine, and more food! This may not be far off from what we usually enjoy in the Crescent City, but with events like the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience and Greek Festival, it might as well be the Jazz Fest of NOLA’s rich culinary scene. Savor every bite, sip, and flavor!

The inspiration for this collaboration comes alongside the completion of Aurora Nealand’s first full-length solo album under the moniker, The Monocle, entitled KindHumanKind.
Nealand describes this work as a sonic means of examining the intersections between love, technology, community, government, mental health and sound in our modern world.
Less loftily, “It’s a bunch of art-pop and performance art about feelings”.
Nealand created every sound and played every instrument on the record so to perform the album live she arranged each composition for a stellar ensemble of notable New Orleans musicians including, Cliff Hines, Nathan Lambertson, Will Thompson, Graham Hawthorne, Julie Odell, Christin Bradford and Tiffany Lamson (Givers).
